Workshop: Building with Python
This workshop will run from 9am to 4pm. A light morning tea and lunch will be provided.
This workshop hosted by John Paul College will be our first event in Rotorua, and we are ready to rock it! Prepare yourself for a day of learning by doing. We blast through the basics of common programming language structures and then dive into building a full object-oriented application.
Attendees will leave at the end of the day with a text-based game of their own creation, properly structured using object-oriented programming principles. The program we create covers all concepts and structures required up to NCEA level 2 programming.
About this module
A great option for beginners with little or no prior programming experience, Building with Python offers a broad taster of the language, while providing a solid basis for more advanced programming.
